Some people find their purpose early in life and never stray from it. For many of us, it takes a little longer to find the right path.
During our inaugural Week of Purpose, we helped Mountaineers ask the big questions: Where are you going? What inspires you? How can you use your talents to help others? Are you making choices that will lead you to your dream destination?
Pursuing your purpose makes life worth living. Research shows that lasting happiness rarely grows from the external rewards we chase—money, awards, job titles. Instead, it comes from doing what you love and making the world better.
That is why I was excited to attend the Week of Purpose and see how our students are turning their passions into possibilities.
